SCSMA Mission Statement
The mission of the South Carolina Society of Medical Assistants is to enable medical assisting professionals to enhance and demonstrate the knowledge, skills and professionalism required by employers and patients; protect medical assistants’ right to practice; and promote effective, efficient health care delivery through optimal use of multi-skilled Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs).

Message from the Speaker and Vice Speaker of the House to all Officers,
Board Members, Committee Chairs, and Chapter Presidents:
Time flies and we will be in Anderson soon for the 2025 conference.
The House of Delegates will meet on Friday March 14, 2025.
​
Chapter Presidents: Please submit a report of your chapter activities, CEU sessions, etc. and include the outcome of your chapter financial audit. The end of your report must contain your 2025-2026 elected Officers, Board Members and Delegates with complete name, credential, address, phone number and email address. Reports must be prepared in the format below and emailed to scooby@demonfall.com no later than January 11th, 2025.
All officers and Committee Chairpersons, please submit your 2025 report to the same email by no later than the same date, no matter what activities or lack thereof.
